Bolo Klub
The Bolo Klub initiative supports young picture-book illustrators in Switzerland. Over a period of one and a half years, illustrators meet regularly to develop their books. The Bolo Klub offers participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and input, provides networking opportunities with professionals from the publishing world, and sets deadlines. The project culminates at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in April 2019, with all participants presenting at least one finished book mock-up and five original illustrations.

Buongiorno, It’s Playtime!
In September of 2013 and 2014, we invited eight illustrators to meet for a workshop week at the Sasso Residency in Variano in the Swiss canton of Ticino. Each participant had the opportunity to organize a one-day workshop and deliver a lecture in the evening. This international event allowed participants to receive input and share experiences. Furthermore, it enabled participants to exchange workshop ideas and collaborate with one other.
